About Paul McEvoy & Sons, Family Funeral Directors
Paul McEvoy & Sons, Family Funeral Directors was founded in 2002 by Paul
who has worked in the profession for a number of year. Realising there was
a void to  be filled in Newry and surrounding areas he decided to give the public the 
choice of another funeral director. Paul's roots go back far in the Ballyholland area,
where his father's side of the family stem from, including his grandmother Kathleen
and grandfather Pat (Giggly) McEvoy, who was born and raised there.
Paul also has fond memories of his mother's family, including his grandparents
Bob and Mary McKeown, who raised Paul's mother and the rest of their 
family in Bessbrook.
Paul has a fantastic hard working family, who he credits with being the backbone of the 
family-run business. They are his four children, Gareth, Darren, Ross and Emma.
The eldest, Gareth, is now following Paul into the family business.

Our aim as independent Funeral Directors is to provide a caring, dignified and
complete funeral service for our community. We achieve this by our experience,
our care, and our respect for both the living and the deceased, whilst striving to
provide the best facilities and professional standards. Our dedication to those we
serve comes from an appreciation of local customs and expectations that has 
always existed.
