Caring for the Deceased
It is essential that the deceased is cared for with the utmost respect and dignity. Our fully qualified male and female embalming staff will provide the highest possible care for your loved one. With death at home contact one of our funeral directors as soon as possible. We will then remove the deceased to our funeral home and complete the preparation and treatment. The deceased will then be taken back home or may remain in our funeral home should you so wish. If death occurs in hospital or nursing home the staff usually complete laying out and once we are contacted we will then carry out your instructions.

Family Mourning Cross www.mourningcross.com
Mourning and the grieving process following the death of a loved one
are among the most important of traditions. The wake and the funeral
are very important in this tradition.
We have all attended wakes and funerals where we did not know all of the relatives
of the deceased ; therefore, we found it hard to to identify who we should sympathise
with. The situation can be at best uncomfortable and at worst embarrassing.
The family Mourning Cross/Symbol is designed to overcome this problem
and when worn by the family of the deceased it helps us identify the appropriate
family members.
